Tank Strapping

We use 3D scanning to create tank volumetric tables according to API MPMS 14.10 – Chapter 2A .

• We are able to account for piping inside the tank and expansion of the shell due to head pressure.
• We use our point cloud to review the plumbness of the shell and center column as per section 7.5.4 of API 650.
